Babajide Otoki, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jobberman Ghana has been announced as one of many speakers for this year’s TEDxAccra event. The CEO of Ghana’s leader in jobs and recruitment solutions joins a distinguished list of speakers selected for this year’s conference; which features entrepreneurs, educators, engineers, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers and doctors both in Ghana and the diaspora.
Since 2012, Mr Otoki has overseen the strategic direction of Jobberman Ghana; where he has been responsible for starting and growing the company from scratch, to its enviable position as the No.1 destination for jobs and jobs seekers in Ghana.
Before leading one of Africa’s fastest growing start-up companies into Ghana, he served as the Job Seekers Channel Lead for Jobberman.com, where he was responsible for the monetization channel of job seekers for the brand in Nigeria. Prior to Jobberman, he had acquired extensive experience in advertising, marketing communications and branding after working with top notch traditional advertising agencies.
Mr. Otoki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising and an EMBA. Over the years, he has been a speaker at various e-commerce and career development conferences and summits. In recent times, he has spoken as a keynote speaker at the Africa Technology Summit 2015, SheHive Accra, and served as a judge on the Hult Prize at the University of Ghana.
Speaking about this year’s conference, the Communications and External Relations lead of TEDxAccra 2016, Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo said: “Every year, our mission is to secure speakers, performers and artists who have a deep connection to Africa and who have innovative ideas worth spreading.
