      A coach is slightly different from a mentor. Your relationship with a coach will be like training and will end once you gain the skill you feel you need. A mentor, however, is more long-term and transcends across several spheres of life including career and personal life. These two are closer to you than you think. Look closely at your network. Is there someone already doing very well in your industry? Is this person accessible to you? If the answers are yes, approach this person and tell them that you would like them to mentor you in the intricacies of the industry. It will cost you time, effort, commitment and dedication. Mentors are busy people, you must be willing to play your part.
